1.1 This specification establishes requirements for fabricated fittings intended for use with outside-diameter controlled polyethylene pipe and tubing. These fittings are manufactured by heat-fusion joining shape-modified polyethylene components prepared from pipe, molded fittings, sheet, billet, or block.
