PEI's Recommended Practices for Installation of Underground Liquid Storage Systems provides the most current information on sound engineering and construction practices with regard to the proper installation of underground liquid storage systems. This 42-page manual was prepared as an industry service by the Petroleum Equipment Institute. The recommended practice is truly an industry document, as oil company engineers, trade associations, environmental regulators, equipment manufacturers, installation contractors, etc., have had an opportunity to review and comment on the previous publication (PEI/RP100-2005) under the same name. The 2011 publication represents the eighth revision of the original 1986 document, and replaces and supersedes the 2005 edition, as significant changes have been made to text, drawings and tables.
